Triboro Training Info

FREE Baseball and Softball Instructional, Minors and Majors Training Clinics

Tri-Boro Little League will be hosting free baseball and softball clinics for our Instructional, Minors and Majors programs at the Richard Butler School beginning on February 24th. The training sessions will focus on base running, fielding, catching, throwing, pitching/catching, and hitting.

Your child must be fully registered for the upcoming spring season to be able to participate in the free training clinics.

It is highly recommended to register on-line prior to the clinics to avoid any delays in participating in the training. Please find the complete training schedule below:

CLINIC DATES

February 24th

March 2nd, 16th & 25th (we don't have access to the gym on the 3/25, location Anderson Field, Star Lake Road Bloomingdale)

CLINIC START TIMES

• Instructional Softball and Baseball 9:45am - 10:45am

• Minors and Majors Softball and Baseball 11:00am - 12:00pm

CLINIC SCHEDULE

WEEKS 1, 3 & 5 focus: Running, Fielding & Throwing

WEEKS 2, 4 & 6 focus: Running, Hitting, Pitching & Catching,

(if your child is not interested in pitching/catching, we will spend extra time on hitting)

WEEK 7, (March 25th) TBD

Please have your child wear sneakers, (no cleats in the gym) to the training. They will also need a glove, helmet, and a bat. We will have catchers gear available if needed on the days we work on pitching/catching. We will communicate any changes to the schedule via our Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Time: 10:00AM – 12:00PM.

Please have your child bring a glove, helmet, and a bat.

RUTGERS SAFETY CERTIFICATION

Tri-Boro Little League requires that all managers and coaches attend the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic (Sports Awareness for Educating Today's Youth ™) prior to acting as a manager or coach with Tri-Boro Little League.
